I walked the Royal Lytham & St Annes golf course in July 2009 but only few days ago, less than a month before the 2012 Open Championship returns there, I began selecting them and uploading to Wikimedia Commons. And the Young SPOTY Award goes to... Lauren Taylor! This Rugby golfer keeps adding more and more achievements to her resume. Last year in June, at the age of sixteen, she became the youngest winner of the Ladies British Open Amateur Championship.

Jade Schaeffer has made it to the news recently by starring in the "Ah, Ah, Ah" golf girls' video. It was a hint that I should check my stash of photographs and upload my findings here and to Wikimedia. It appears that few of those are one of my finest :)
